Early in the morning we
visited Zadar saw the most
important sites and drove
then further to the Main
coast road up to the entrance
of the National Park Krka,
10 kilometers north of Šibenik.
The ride on the Main coast
road (Magistrale)- which
is the most important coastal
road of Dalmatien - was
easier than feared. The
majority of traffic travelling
south was civilized and
relatively calmer than the
one driving the other direction.
But other cyclists, whom
we met at the way, meant
that the road was dreadful
and they did not want to
drive any more along the
Magistrale.
